      Librarians can find open content aligned to course objectives that can be used, and/or adapted, for use within their institutions.

      1. Facilitator will call on a participant (different from the 2nd session) to showcase their openly licensed resources (Assignment 2).
      2. Formative assessment using Quizziz quiz on open licensing.
      3. Facilitator will introduce the RISE tutorial on Openness: Open Content and OER.
      4. There will be a plenary discussion on searching and evaluating OER.

    • Instructions:

      1. Conduct a search for an openly licensed resource to support the teaching of an academic subject topic. It can be a web resources, video, simulation etc.
      2. Use the template below and do an analysis of the resources as to whether it scores well using the QA criteria in the template.
