Nkem Osuigwe:

Nkem is the Director, Human Capacity Development and Training African Library and Information Associations and Institutions (AfLIA).  She is an ardent advocate of open knowledge and sees the continuous development of human capital through education and continuous professional development as key to Africa’s transformation. 

She asks existential questions about librarianship and possible layers of involvement by library professionals in matters of social justice, information for transparent and sustainable democracy, decolonization of knowledge and ethics.
